Smiles abound at an Easter Egg Hunt at Solterra Park
We teamed up with Tahoe Homes to host the first annual Easter Egg Hunt at Solterra Park last Saturday! Nearly 30 children of all ages gathered with their baskets for the brisk morning event. Colorful poms and streamers edged the park, while the trees were decorated with paper lanterns and poms and looked as though they were out of a Dr. Suess storybook. Over 600 eggs filled with wrapped candy were scattered about by Solterra volunteers. The egg hunt was sectioned into two areas offering beginners an easy stroll and older guests a more challenging option. Afterwards, baby goats, lambs and bunnies were on hand to delight everyone throughout the morning. The animals, which regularly attend the Cherry Festival in Emmett, are bottle-fed and thus very friendly. What a fun way to kick-off Easter Weekend!
What’s better than Christmas Pudding? Move-In Ready Homes at Solterra
While other building companies are “on hold” or have “freezes” in place, Tahoe Homes at Solterra is full speed ahead with three completed homes and many more at various stages of construction.
Our design team is continually tweaking the homes with each new wave, in an effort to maximize the livability in every room or space. The Sedona models now have dual sinks in the main bath and a more user-friendly pantry in the kitchen. The last townhome of phase one is adjacent to common area, so the fencing along that side yard has a trellis-like header to feel more open while still maintaining privacy. And no tweaking was needed with the long-awaited arrival of our next Mesa model, which is along the park and now available.
Reflecting back on 2015, we are very grateful for the successful start of this fabulous neighborhood and the wonderful homeowners that have chosen to make Solterra their home. We can’t wait for 2016 to see how this community evolves as phase two continues to take shape. Happy Holidays, Everyone!

High energy and happy faces were abound at Solterra’s official Grand Opening event, Saturday, May 30. Xtreme Pulse Cheer, Meridian’s nationally ranked competitive cheer team, kicked off the festivities with an exhibition. This long-standing, successful program recently opened the doors to its new gym less than one mile from Solterra. The lively atmosphere brought by Xtreme was maintained throughout the afternoon as visitors enjoyed the bounce house, tug-of-war, gunny sack races, and free kettle corn provided by Wild Wild West. Additionally, Tahoe unveiled four new models which visitors enjoyed touring long after the event had ended.
Good food, good friends at Solterra Grand Opening
The Solterra Grand Opening weekend started off Thursday, May 28, as past Tahoe clients and Boise area agents visited one of Meridian’s newest communities. The beautifully decorated Sedona model served as a perfect venue for the open house, showcasing one of Tahoe’s Solterra floor plans. Roughly 45 visitors turned out to tour and learn more about the neighborhood. Additionally, Backstage Bistro provided a delicious and extensive array of appetizers for the event. Between Tahoe’s fresh ideas and Backstage’s fresh food, all things are looking up for Meridian’s up and coming community.
